cracked lead came joints/response from Vic

thanks for the ZnCl flux suggeastion

after the post I thought that my description may not be entirely accurate...
actually it is not the lead that is cracked, it's the old solder.
Is there a way of "desoldering" such as a wick or suction that is worth pursuing ??
