I use a white paint pen. and then i cover that with a product called mark stay. it is a putty like stuff that comes in a little jar. you put just a little bit on your mark and it stays quite well.

: What does everyone use to mark their cutting lines on dark glass? I tried a "gold" marker, didn't work very well and came off immediately if grinding was needed. I tried a red china marker, but made a thicker line and am afraid it may gum up my cutter. It did stay on if I needed to grind though! Will the china marker mess up my cutter? There's got to be a better way?
